Photogenic?

I have heard over and over again how people just don't think that they are photogenic!  I agree that the camera really does love some more than others.... think super-models..... but basically it is possible for everyone to have a great portrait taken.

Here are some important things to consider before stepping in front of a lens......

1- Wear clothes that are comfortable and make you feel your best... even if it's your pj's!

2 - Choose colors that compliment your complexion.  Everyone may love the color orange, but orange does NOT love everyone!

3 -  Use this trick to smooth out wrinkles and stretch out a double chin....   while smiling, gently thrust your chin forward and press your tongue against your top teeth.  It won't show in this pictures and it works wonders!

4 -  Let your smile come through your eyes!!  Think wonderful, happy thoughts..... or about a mischevious prank!  It will all shine through!

5 - Have fun!  Relax!  If you're feeling awkward and/or stressed.... it will show.
