Monday, March 8, 2010 at 8:10PM Is there anything better than a freshly picked strawberry? While on vacation, we decded to spend a couple of hours picking hydrponically grown strawberries. There were hundreds of plants hanging all over with berries in every stage of growth.
You are given a bucket and a pair of scissors and off you go in seach of bright, red, ripe berries.
No dirt, no bending.... just fabulous!!
I have to say, they have been delicious!
We're debating going back to pick more..... but also want to indulge in the oranges and grapefruit!
