Ashley's Tournament of Hope
Sunday, June 6, 2010 at 8:54AM Have you ever been inspired by the passion and commitment of someone that you just have to jump in and help out?
The Midgley family is living with Cystic Fibrosis. Their daily lives not only revolve around the basic tasks of living, but include daily medications, physio and more..... Their daughter has had to endure thousands of hours of physio and takes handfuls of pills daily.... yet you rarely see her without a smile.

The Midgley family is so dedicated to eradicating this disease, that for the past 8 years they have hosted a fundraising golf tournament with the proceeds going to the Quebec Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. As of this year, they have raised over $115,000...... not only is this impressive... it's inspiring!
Yesterday, I was honored to be at the annual tournament. I was out photographing the 4somes on the course and had the opportunity to meet fun, interesting and caring people.... all who were there to golf, yes, but also to be a part of the magic.

Congratulations to the Midgley family for being an inspiration.... From volunteers to sponsors, advertisers to golfers..... your dedication and hard work has touched us all.
** I am not able to post pics of the golfers b/c several asked not to have their photos published anywhere. **
